Catch-up #3: our penultimate workaway.
It is in Estonia that Travis took the boat for the first time. So it was early spring when we arrived on the island of Saaremaa. A little early (for once...), we took the opportunity to visit the island. Thus we were able to visit a whole series of old USSR bunkers ruins, thanks to our new hobby: geocaching.
The roads also led us to discover a beautiful deer antler, geodes at the bottom of Panga cliff, the majestic mills of Angla as well as the unique meteoritic crater of Kaali.
There followed two weeks of workaway a bit special since we were staying at the farm while the house of our hosts was located one kilometer away.
We played the role of handymen while cleaning the hen house, picking up the daily 100 eggs, spreading manure around the trees, picking up the leaves of last fall and even stones heavier than us in a field. Fortunately, we were able to drive the tractor to make the task easier.
In early May, after visiting Tallinn, the capital, we boarded for a crossing of 16 hours towards Sweden. Objective: learn basketry during our last workaway in Norway.
It is aboard Princess Anastasia that we got to watch the latest Jumanji movie, in Russian!
