Catch-up #2!
Throwback on the most eastern part of our trip to Europe. We had left Poland to go to our next workaway host in Estonia. So we crossed two other Baltic countries.
First, Lithuania. After strolling along the river, we visited the beautiful little town of Kaunas, including its small medieval castle, in whose walls we discovered a beautiful painted rock.
We then went to visit the capital, Vilnius, which pleased us less, but which was nice anyway.
Then we continued on our way north, stopping in the nice town of Šiauliai, next to the famous hill of crosses, symbol of the Lithuanian revolution, where we could visit the bike museum.
Quick stay in Latvia, where we only visited the capital, Riga, only the time to let Travis at the garage for his blocked handbrake problem. Great and swarming city but very pretty, the crowd still overwhelmed us a bit after the calm and tranquility of our stay in Poland.
