Dear Santa,
We have behaved this year. We hope you had time to rest. We came to see you this year because you always come too quickly every year at home, and during our sleep.
We could see that the elves are at work and make beautiful toys. We hope you have some for us. Cerise and I would like a bigger truck, and the license that goes with it.
Bisous
Koala
After this magical interlude in Santa Claus' village on the Finnish Arctic Circle, we went back to the south of it and the sun came back over our heads. We could see that during summer time, the reindeer turn into mosquitoes, 1000 times more numerous. After a sleepless and bloody night, we were happy to find summer temperatures that mosquitoes do not like.
In Finland, we were able to enjoy the warm welcome at the border of lakes and rivers with cabins and barbecue, and wood available for spending the long summer evenings. So it is on one of these areas that we finally could admire the midnight sun, in the pleasant company of Le Voyage de Mia (http://www.levoyagedemia.fr/), aka KoalaCerise in 10 years. A very nice encounter, we hope to meet again before the end of the trip ;)
We also saw beautiful landscapes, lily of the valley on July 1st, diabolic churns that cost us a Finnish radar (exact cost to come later), and some reindeers not shy at all.
