About two weeks ago, we left Italy under a bright sun, to reach Slovenia, which we crossed quickly, but we took the time to linger in the beautiful city of Ljubljana.
We crossed the famous Dragon Bridge, had a little tour of the city and almost succumbed to the temptation to do some ice rink laps.
The following night, we found a spot at the foot of a castle and on the river's edge, in the small town of Žužemberk. Worst idea ever!
While Cerise slept soundly, Koala, not being able to close the eye, woke up his sweetheart at 4am, holding pretty much this language: "It's been raining since 9pm, and now it's snowing, I'm afraid to be stucked here if the water rises! Let's leave!".
The two travelers then took refuge in the heights, on a building carpark near the castle visited the day before. The next day, we realized that the water had not risen so much, but it was still safer to get away from it.
We let you enjoy the photos.
After so many emotions, we left Slovenia for her neighbour Croatia.
